Ellsworth Cooperative Creamery part of a Guinness World Record
May 4, 2016There’s a new Guinness World Record for the largest display of cheese and Ellsworth Cooperative Creamery was a lucky participant! More than 500 cheeses from different countries were on display at a dairy expo in China. Ellsworth Cooperative Creamery had 60 artesian cheeses, plus 5 flavors of our cheese curds that were part of the festivities. Not only did we have the privilege of participating in the fun, but we were also the central shipping point for all of the participating Wisconsin Cheese companies. All of the cheese products were shipped to us for storage until the final shipment day. A huge thanks to our very own Gina Klecker who took on the big task of tracking all of the incoming product, repacking it for export and making sure all of the paperwork needed was completed. Interested in seeing some of the expo? You’re in luck because we got our hands on a news feature from China Xinhua News.
